“James has made remarkable strides with his task initiation this month. By switching to a 20-minute timer and keeping a visual checklist by his desk, the friction of starting homework has decreased noticeably. In Mathematics, his confidence with algebra factorisation has grown significantly, reflected in his recent Grade 5 test score. Next month we will focus on quantitative Chemistry calculations.”
What Parents Say About Our Mentorship
Hear from families whose children transformed their relationship with studying, school pressure, and GCSE examinations.
“Our Year 11 son has ADHD and was falling behind on his AQA Sciences. He didn't need another tutor talking at him; he needed someone to teach him HOW to organise his revision. His mentor Clara broke tasks into bite-sized routines. For the first time, he revised independently without evening arguments. He achieved 7s in his GCSE mocks.”
“My daughter is autistic and found the transition into Year 10 overwhelming. Her UK Bright Minds mentor was patient, respectful, and adapted every session with visual schedules and clear expectations. Having a dedicated mentor who understands neurodiversity gave her a safe anchor. Her school teachers have noticed a huge rise in confidence.”
“We enrolled in Bright Complete for our daughter in Year 11. Having one mentor coordinating her overall study schedule and mock exam analysis alongside subject lessons in Maths was a game changer. The monthly progress report kept us completely informed without us having to nag her. Truly worth every penny.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our Student Success Mentorship Programme.
Does my child need a formal ADHD or Autism diagnosis to join?
No, absolutely not. Any student who struggles with organisation, task initiation, revision consistency, or exam confidence is welcome. We believe in providing proactive, strengths-based educational adaptations to anyone who needs them, without medical gatekeeping.
How is an Academic Mentor different from a Subject Tutor?
A traditional tutor only teaches specific formulas or essay questions for one hour. An Academic Mentor oversees your child’s entire study system: planning their weekly timetable, teaching active revision methods, helping them start challenging tasks, tracking school grades, and building long-term confidence. (If subject tutoring is also desired, our Bright Complete package combines both seamlessly).
How are your mentors vetted and trained?
Every mentor undergoes an Enhanced DBS Check with Children’s Barred List verification, identity checks, degree certificate validation, and character references. Our SEND mentors have specialized professional development in ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive function coaching. Read our complete Safeguarding Policy.
Can I change packages or cancel if our circumstances change?
Yes! We do not lock families into rigid long-term contracts. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your monthly mentorship subscription with 14 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
